HELOC Ledger ("we", "us") is an educational publisher operating helocledger.com. You can reach us at privacy@helocledger.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us: email address (when you subscribe), and any calculator inputs you choose to email yourself.
- Automatically collected: standard server logs (IP, user agent, page requested, timestamp), and aggregate analytics (pages, sessions, referrers).
- Cookies: a single consent cookie remembers your banner choice. With consent, our advertising and analytics partners may set additional cookies.
What we don't collect
We do not collect your Social Security number, account numbers, or credit information. We are not a lender. We have no reason to ask for that information and we don't.
How we use information
- To deliver the calculator output you requested (e.g., a printable plan PDF).
- To send our occasional educational newsletter (only if you subscribed).
- To monitor site health and detect abuse.
- To serve and measure advertising on the site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your email address.
- We do not share your data with mortgage brokers or lenders.
- We do not use your data for purposes outside this policy.
Your rights (US, EU, UK, CA)
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing email at any time. Email privacy@helocledger.com. We respond within 30 days. Residents of California (CCPA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have additional rights including the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
Children
HELOC Ledger is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for 30 days.
